JIB BOOM MODIFICATIONS

1. Goal
To extend the jib boom to accommodate topping lift which clears the jib leech, and
keep all jib boom swivels and out haul in the same locations as the kit jib boom.

2. Move the cleat on the boom to front of headsail swivel
To keep the headsail line from getting caught on the cleat

3. Make a cleaner headsail line adjuster
To keep the headsail line from dropping. I tided a bowsie Between the two head sail swivels

I have extended the boom to 13-1/2" and 14-1/4", but decided to use the 13-1/2" boom,
because the topping lift cleared the jib leech without adding unnecessary length to the jib boom.

Note: The rules do not allow the use of a extended boom or jib topping lift
